The data shows the number of nights spent in hotels by foreign tourists in metropolitan France between 2010 and 2017. In 2016 approx. 69.5 million overnight stays were made in hotels and similar accommodation by international tourists in France. This was a significant decrease in overnight stays compared to a year earlier. However, the number of nights increased and peaked at 75.7 million in 2017. Total nights spent by all tourists in hotels in France also peaked in 2017.
