Holiday and leisure travel spending in France 2012-2016, by destination type

The data displays the annual expenditure on trips taken for holiday, leisure or recreation purposes by residents of France from 2012 to 2016. The data is split by outbound and domestic trips. Residents in France spent a total of around 26.6 billion euro on domestic holiday trips and 18.7 billion euro on outbound holiday trips in 2016. Overall spending on outbound travel and domestic travel increased that year.
