European Union (EU) Schengen visas issued in Russia 2010-2017

The data displays the number of Schengen area (total uniform) visas issued to consulates located within the Russian Federation from 2010 to 2017. Those issued with the Schengen Visa are legally allowed to travel within the Schengen Zone which compromises 26 European nations. The number of Schengen visas issued from consulates in Russia increased by approx. 2.8 million between 2010 and 2013. Since 2013 however the number of Schengen visas issued declined by around three million by 2017.
