Leading travel destinations visited from the United Kingdom 2017

The data shows a ranking of the leading countries visited abroad by by residents of the UK (for all travel purposes) in 2017. Spain was the most visited country with around 15.9 million visits by UK residents in 2017. France ranked second for number of visits by UK travelers and Italy third. In terms of vacation travel, Spain also ranked as the leading holiday destination in the United Kingdom.
