The data depicts the inbound tourism of visitors from the U.S. to the Netherlands from 2007 to 2016. As of 2016, approx. 1.2 million visitors from the U.S. visited the Netherlands. Between 2007 and 2016, the number of visitors increased with approx. 200,000 visitors.
The main purpose of visitors from the U.S. traveling to the Netherlands in 2014, was because of holiday purposes. A little more than 50% mentioned that holiday was the main purpose of their visit, where a little less than a quarter said it was for business purposes.
