The data displays the leading ten overseas holiday destinations visited by residents of the UK in 2017. Spain was the most visited country for holiday travel with close to 14 million trips made by UK residents that year. France and Italy came in second and third respectively. Spain is also the most visited destination by UK tourists overall (for all travel purposes).
