According to the MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index, the city with the highest international visitor spend was Dubai in 2016. In 2016, leisure tourists vacationing in London were the highest spenders compared to other visitors. The second biggest spenders are generally business travelers who have an expenditure of more than half as much as those on vacation.
