Consumers eating out or takeaways in the last week in Germany 2008-2017

The data displays the proportion of German adults who had eaten meals prepared outside the home in the 7 days prior to being interviewed between 2008 and 2017. The results are broken down by meals or snacks eaten on the premises of a pub, restaurant or cafe, takeaway meals eaten off premises and meals or snacks delivered to the home. 27% had eaten takeaway meals off the premises where they were prepared in 2017 and 17% had meals delivered to their home.
