This study presents the preference of female U.S. consumers of videos by cosmetics brands versus user-generated beauty content videos. During the May 2017 survey period, 12% of respondents claimed that they definitely prefer the videos by cosmetics companies. A total of 9% of respondents stated that they definitely prefer blogger videos and personal accounts.
