The data displays the gross value added of cosmetic and toilet article retail sales made in specialized stores in the UK, from 2008 to 2016. In 2012, cosmetics store retailing contributed 867 million GBP to the GVA of the United Kingdom Non-Financial Business Economy. The year with the lowest GVA was in 2009, when figures dropped to 540 million GBP. By 2016 this figure almost tripled to 1.41 billion GBP.
