The data displays the results of grocery retailers surveyed about the distribution of their fruit sales, broken down by random-weight fruit and packaged/value-added/fresh-cut fruits, as of August 2017. Survey respondents said that as of August 2017, some 47.1% of their fresh fruit sales were attributable to random-weight fruit sales, while in the year prior to that, as of August 2016, respondents said that random-weight fruits accounted for 62.2% of fruit sales.
