The data shows turnover of leading Do-It-Yourself (DIY) retailers in Europe in 2017. That year, Groupe Adeo had the highest turnover with roughly 20 billion euro. The Kingfisher group was second with roughly 12.8 billion euro, and third was another UK-based brand, Home Retail Group, with a much smaller turnover, at six billion euro.
Groupe Adeo is a French retailer, which was previously known as Leroy Merlin and was established in 1923 under this name. The group now operates a number of stores, including Weldom, Briocenter, Aki and Bricoman.
