The data displays the leading retailers of so-called ‘do-it-yourself’ (DIY) goods in Sweden from 2010 to 2015, based on the number of stores per retailer. In 2015, the DIY retailer Woody Bygghandel, owned by Interpares, had 100 stores in Sweden. Clas Ohlson ranked second with 84 stores, ahead of Rusta with 80 stores. In the past five years, the number of DIY stores in Sweden has grown constantly. In 2015, 558 stores were providing consumers with DIY goods.
Although Woody Bygghandel was the leading retailer in 2015, the actual number of their shopfronts has been reduced in recent years.
