DIY survey: confidence in selected DIY skills in Europe 2012-2014

The data describes the share of Europeans who feel confident carrying out DIY and home improvement tasks themselves, comparing results between the 2012 and 2014 surveys for five selected skills. Landscaping the garden showed the largest change with confidence levels rising from 16% in 2012 to 40% in 2014. Respondents were also more confident with insulation in 2014. 18% said they would be confident installing insulation themselves compared to 10% in 2012.
