World graphite reserves by country 2017

The data illustrates the world reserves of graphite as of 2017, sorted by major countries. As of that year, the reserves of natural graphite in Brazil were estimated to be approx. 70 million metric tons. Graphite is a native element mineral and a semimetal, comprised of a crystalline allotrope of carbon. One of its well known uses is as the 'lead' in pencils.
