The data displays the results of the National Youth Tobacco Survey from 2011 to 2017. U.S. middle school students were asked if they used electronic cigarettes in the past 30 days. Some 3.3% of survey respondents reported to have smoked electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) in the preceding 30 days in 2017.
