Leading silver producing companies worldwide 2017

The data illustrates the leading silver producing mining companies worldwide in 2017. In that year, the Russian company Polymetal International plc was the world's fifth biggest silver company, producing some 26.8 million ounces of silver. In the U.S., for example, around one third of all silver is used in the electrical and electronics industry, while only the smallest share of silver consumption is used for jewelry and silverware.
