U.S. oil and gas company Exxon Mobil was ranked fifth that year, with a total 2017 revenue of some 241.5 billion USD.
Global top oil and gas companies The UK’s Royal Dutch Shell and BP are among the world’s biggest oil and gas companies, earning revenues of 322.7 billion USD and 252.6 billion USD, respectively in 2017, according to the 2018 FT ranking.
