Canada's diamond production in carats 2004-2018

The data shows the diamond production in Canada from 2004 to 2013, with projections for 2014 to 2018, measured in million carats. In 2013, there were some 10.6 million carats of diamonds produced in Canada. It is estimated that in 2018, there will be some 20.3 million carats of diamonds produced in Canada. As of 2014, Canada's diamond production represented an estimated 8.7% of the world's diamond production by carat volume.
