The data displays the number of bank owned contactless payment terminals in the UK from January 2016 to June 2017. As of June 2017 there were over 506 thousand bank owned contactless payment terminals in the UK. This figure has risen from January 2016 which had 318.6 thousand contactless payment terminals across the United Kingdom. With the rise of contactless payment terminals the UK has also seen a rise in number of contactless cards as well as transactions.
