The data displays the monthly revenue in million GBP generated by contactless payment card journeys on London transport systems from January 2016 to March 2018. The data displays a rise in the amount of contactless payment traffic in London on buses, trams and rail over this time period. The revenue of bus and tram journeys using contactless payment between 10 January and 6 February 2016 was 13.7 million GBP, which rose to over 29.7 million GBP between 4th and 31st March 2018. The revenue generated by rail journeys rose to almost 107 million GBP for the month between 4th and 31st March 2018.
