The data displays the results of a survey in which respondents in the UK were asked if they agreed to statements about the perceived benefits and pitfalls of using contactless payment in 2016. Of respondents 90% either 'agreed' or 'strongly agreed' that the fact that they did not have to enter their PIN in the presence of others was a benefit of using contactless payment. 53% also agreed that there was a risk that someone could steal their information.
