The data displays a number of consumer insights, by gender, in regards to contactless payment in the UK in 2016. Males have less trust and are therefore less likely to pay through contactless cards with 35% compared to 29% of females not trusting contactless payment systems enough to use them. This still shows a high level of mistrust in contactless cards. Only 10% of males and 9% of females hope that the maximum limit for their contactless cards keeps rising as to 25% of males and 28% of females believing that the current 30 British pound limit should not be raised.
