The data displays the value of online retail sales in the UK from 2012 to 2016 with a forecast to 2017. Retail sales values do not include travel, restaurants, tickets or transport. Online retail sales increased over the years from a value of 33.24 billion GBP in 2012 to approx. 60.43 billion GBP in 2016 and they are expected to exceed 67 billion GBP in 2017. As of 2016 the share of online buyers was at 77% in the United Kingdom and online retail sales made up 15.2% of all retail sales in the United Kingdom as of January 2017.
