The data displays the number of Toyota Prius hybrid cars sold in the UK between 2000 and 2018. The Prius was the first mass-produced electric hybrid car in the world and one of the most successful. In the UK sales of the Prius peaked between 2007 and 2010 after which it began to fall. Over this period a total of 64,689 Prius models were sold in the UK. Sales picked up again in 2014, increasing to 3,361 sales in 2015 and 5,312 in 2016.
