The data displays the number monthly registrations of plug-in non-pure electric cars in the UK between January 2014 and June 2018. There tend to be higher sales in September and March due to the release of new registration plates. There was a clear trend in increasing registrations of plug-in non-pure electric vehicles with especially strong sales from September 2014 onwards.
The number of monthly registrations reached a significant peak in March 2018 with 6,389 new registrations. Up 18.2% from 5,404 new registrations in March 2017.
