The data depicts the most popular types of transactions or stores where payments in cash were common in the UK as of 2015. It can be seen that approx. 85% of all transactions in newsagents were carried out in cash at that time. Pubs and Convenience Stores completed the top three in terms of the share of cash payments, with cash payment shares of 84% and 79% respectively as of 2015.
