The data depicts the total share of cash machine withdrawals that charged a fee to the cardholder in the UK from the fourth quarter of 2011 to the fourth quarter of 2017. It can be seen that the share of total withdrawals charging a fee decreased overall during the period under observation, reaching a share of 1.8% as of the fourth quarter of 2017. This was a decrease of 0.9% in comparison to the last quarter of 2011, when the share of fee charging withdrawals stood at 2.7%.
