The data describes the losses incurred as a result of automated teller machines - related attacks or incidents reported in selected European countries from 2010 to 2017. According to data on number of fraud incidents, many of which were connected to new and ever evolving techniques, such as i.e. keypad jamming fraud, designed to rob customers of their savings, the number of cases was growing in Europe as of 2017. Over time, also the value of money lost as a result of ATM fraud rose from 248 million euro in 2013 to 280 million euro in 2014.
