In 2017, approx. 64% of the respondents who use an account or service from the Dutch SNS Bank indicated they use a savings account. In 2015, for example, the five biggest Dutch credit institutions, which includes the likes of ING, Rabobank and ABN Amro, held approx. 85% of the total assets. The Dutch banking sector, consequently, is one of the most concentrated in Europe.
