The data depicts the monthly outstanding amounts from lending to individuals excluding student loans in the UK from May 2016 to April 2018, by type of loan. It can be seen that the monthly outstanding amounts from lending secured on dwellings to individuals increased during the period under observation, reaching a value of more than 1.37 trillion GBP as of April 2018. The total amount of consumer credit outstanding to individuals reached over 210.6 billion GBP at that time.
