The data shows the share of adults in the UK had an overdraft as of October 2017 or prior 12 months, listed by household income. It was found that households with a higher income were more likely to have an overdraft in the UK. In 2017, 29% of adults with annual income of above 50 thousand GBP had an overdraft. At the same time, 13% of adults with a household income of under 15 thousand GBP had an overdraft.
