Some 19.7% of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in Georgia, were first evaluated between 37 to 48 months of age. Autism spectrum disorder is a developmental disability characterized by deficits in social communication and interaction as well as repetitive behavior, interest, or activity patterns.
