The data shows the distribution of the total number of Facebook users in the Netherlands in 2018, by gender and age group (in thousands). As of 2018, the Netherlands had a roughly equal share of male and female Facebook users, however the number of female Facebook users in the Netherlands in 2018 surpassed the number of male Facebook users in all age groups except amongst 18 to 24 year olds and 25 to 35 year olds. For both genders, Facebook usage was highest amongst those between 25 and 35 years of age and lowest in the youngest age group, with roughly 300 thousand Facebook users aged between 13 and 17 years in 2018.
