The data shows the total number of active social media users on mobile devices in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands in 2017 and 2018 (in millions). As of 2018, the number of active social media users in the Netherlands was just below 10 million, whereas that number for Luxembourg was roughly 300 thousand in the same year. Although this appears to be comparatively low, the percentage of active social media users as part of overall population in Luxembourg was equal to that of Belgium. In both countries just over half of the population were active social media users in 2018.
