The data displays the top ten local authorities who have the highest percentage of native English speakers in England and Wales in 2011. In Redcar and Cleveland UA, 99.3% of the inhabitants were native English speakers which was 0.3% lower than the next region, Halton UA. Unlike the ranking of local authorities with the highest percentage of non-native English speakers, 8 out of 10 of these areas are located in the North of England.
