The data displays the annual growth figures of successful grants of asylum for refugees in Belgium from 2008 until 2016. Comparing 2008 to 2016, there has been an overall increase of almost 12 thousand refugees successfully qualifying for asylum in Belgium. The peak was in 2016 at approx. 15.1 thousand. Since 2008, Belgium has accepted a total of 60,395 refugees.
