The data displays the annual growth figures of successful grants of asylum for refugees in Greece from 2008 until 2016. Comparing 2008 to 2016, there has been an overall increase of over 2.7 thousand refugees successfully qualifying for asylum in Greece. The peak was in 2015 at approx. four thousand. Since 2008 Greece has accepted a total of 9,815 refugees.
