Number of accepted grants of asylum in the Netherlands from 2008-2016

The data displays the annual growth figures of successful grants of asylum for refugees in the Netherlands from 2008 until 2016. When comparing 2008 to 2016, there has been an overall increase of over 15 thousand refugees successfully qualifying for asylum in the Netherlands. The peak was in 2016 at approx. 20.8 thousand. Since 2008, the Netherlands has accepted a total of 90,035 refugees.
