Share of the Benelux of total card payments in EU 2010-2016

The data displays the card payments in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands as a percentage of total card payments in EU from 2010 to 2016. In 2016, Belgian card payments took up approx. 2.9% of the EU total. One preferred way of conducting money transfers in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands is by card. In 2016, Luxembourg had approx. 216 card payments per capita compared to 151 in Belgium and 232 in the Netherlands.
