The data displays the answers to a survey question on the leading payment methods for online shopping in Belgium 2016 and 2017. As of 2017, roughly 20% of the Belgian respondents said they prefer using PayPal or a similar service when paying for an online purchase. One preferred way of conducting money transfers in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands is by card. In 2016, Luxembourg had approx. 216 card payments per capita compared to 151 in Belgium and 232 in the Netherlands.
